About Mad Cow Comedy

Mad Cow Comedy brings English-language stand-up to Utrecht, with international comedians, intimate solo shows, and workshops. Hosted by Rachel Morton-Young, our Sunday shows at Kartoffel on the Oudegracht offer a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, a fresh line-up every time, and plenty of laughs for newcomers and regulars alike.

A debut comedy show about family, queerness and unexpected fatherhood

A smart, honest, and very funny hour, from the comedian who was named Newbie Comedian of the Year 2024, and whose work is heading to Adelaide Fringe and Glasgow International Comedy Festival this year.

Adam Fields: Adam's Apple

Ever since leaving the garden of Eden, Adam has asked himself: How tasty was that apple anyway? Why are snakes so sneaky? How did that fig leaf actually stay on? Is a relationship with Eve worth losing a rib for? If he had two sons, where did everyone else come from? And if the apple is the fruit of wisdom, why do iPhones make us dummer?
